I use evidence-based practices to treat children, adolescents, families, individuals and couples.
My name is Jennifer Johnson. I am family-oriented and have a strong anchor and relationship with my husband, four daughters and two grandchildren. I have experienced some of my own trials and life challenges, which I feel assist me in building an empathetic rapport with clients. My work as a counselor began after receiving my Master’s of Social Work from the University of Utah and my Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, with an emphasis in Family Studies, from Weber State University. I believe that all people have the ability to realize their true potential, recognize and build on their strengths, and find solutions to problems while trying to navigate life’s challenges. I feel that most of life's experiences are best processed and coped with in a judgment-free zone where there is acceptance and an atmosphere of caring.
I provide counseling services to children, individuals, couples and families in crisis. I accept cash clients at $50 per session. For more information or to schedule an appointment, please call (801) 510-6864.
